Buenos
Aires offers different types of lodging for every budget: from expensive
quality hotels (international chains like Sheraton, Marriot or Four
Seasons) to modest ones. There are also a few hostels for young people
where rooms are shared by four to six people.
Hotels
are mainly located in or near the city centre, where all tourist
attractions are. However, there are many hotels around the city, usually
more affordable, which are easily accessible by subway or bus.
If
you plan a long stay, an excellent choice is to rent an apartment, which
is obviously much cheaper than staying in a hotel.
There are small
apartments for one or two people, or some big ones for a whole family.
They are all equipped with everything you need, including linen, towels,
kitchen utensils and even telephone. Most of them are located near the
city centre or in nice nearby neighbourhoods like Recoleta, Belgrano or Barrio
Norte.

Another
good option is to stay with a host family. Many Argentine families love
welcoming foreign students or travellers, sharing dinner with them and
becoming friends. It's a great way of learning about local culture,
meeting people and seeing how they live and think.
